CMG Hosts Workshop at the AIA 2022 Women’s Leadership Summit in San Jose

AIA Women's Leadership SummitWe’re looking forward to The American Institute of Architects (AIA)’s 2022 Women’s Leadership Summit in #SanJose, a four-day annual event that empowers women through leadership, knowledge, community, and belonging!

On Thursday, September 29th from 11:30 am -1:00 pm PT, CMG’s Saskia Dennis-van Dijl and Annelise Pitts, AIA will be moderating a workshop “Lead a Just & Equitable Firm—Designing New Models for the Firm of the Future.” This workshop (currently at capacity) is hosted by Cameron MacAllister Group in the Ridder Lounge at the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts.

“In this collaborative think-tank format workshop, our industry’s next generation of aspiring leaders will explore these tensions globally and as they play out in their personal advancement journeys and will be asked to imagine alternative future scenarios. We will ask: “What would make your firm, and this profession, a place that you want to stay? A place where you want to be a leader? What impact might you have if you were able to lead with authenticity?” Through a series of exercises, participants will explore their own leadership identities, define attributes of their firm’s existing and ideal leadership cultures, and identify how they might leverage their existing power to catalyze this transformation. Participants will leave with action items and a network to support them as they lead the change that they want to see in our profession.”

We hope to see you at #AIAWLS! Thank you to AIA Silicon Valley‘s planning team, volunteers, and event sponsors.
