CMG Welcomes Three New Consultants

Judith Wallace joins CMG as a Principal Consultant with a focus on Coaching, Leadership Development, and Team Building. She brings over 40 years of executive experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction industries. Prior to joining CMG, Judith spent 30 years working for a construction management firm where she advanced to become Vice President and Area Manager of their San Francisco office before spending five years as the Chief Marketing Officer. Before that, Judith worked for an architectural practice, an engineering firm, and a general contractor and taught at Kansas State University. Her experience in operations, human resources, teaching, team development and management, marketing and business development, and executive leadership honed her skills as a professional coach. Throughout her career, Judith’s passion has been helping people develop the skills needed to reach their personal career goals and achieve peak performance in leadership positions. This led her to pursue a certification from the College of Executive Coaching, which is nearing completion. Judith is also certified to administer the EQ-I 2.0 and EQ 360 assessment tools related to emotional intelligence.

Lori Ferriss, AIA, PE, LEED AP BD+C, joins CMG as a Principal Consultant with a focus on Sustainability, Resilience, and Organizational Development. She brings 15 years of experience as an architect, structural engineer, and conservator. Lori is a renowned leader, advocate, and educator in sustainable stewardship of the built environment. Her personal mission is to break down silos between disciplines and across the building sector to leverage the built environment toward a more sustainable, resilient, and equitable future. Licensed as both an architect and professional engineer, Lori provides clients with a broad range of knowledge to help them see the great potential of existing buildings. She brings a balance of technical expertise and strategic thinking skills to her work with clients that lead to implementable outcomes. She works with firms to embed climate action into both organizational structure, staff development, and project delivery processes for measurable and consistent change. A past recipient of the AIA Young Architects Award, Lori also chairs the AIA Committee on the Environment, serves on the steering committee of the Climate Heritage Network, and is a co-founder of the Northeast Hub of the Carbon Leadership Forum and the Zero Net Carbon Collaboration for Existing and Historic Buildings.

Larisa Forester, CPSM, Assoc. AIA, joins CMG as a Consultant with a focus on Surveys, Research, Strategic Planning, and Business Development. Larisa is known for embracing eternal positivity, new ideas, innovative techniques, diverse cultures, and constant growth. She uses these to lead firms in international client growth and market expansion. Driven to try new things and meet new people, Larisa has visited nearly a dozen different countries and has lived and worked in a few. This cultural shift in approaches, processes, and outcomes has not only expanded her cultural horizons but has made her much more adaptable in her strategy-building techniques and her ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of personalities. Larisa is the current Foundation Champion and a past President of CREW Los Angeles and Marketing Director for the National Association of Museum Exhibitions. She also serves on the Steering Committee for the National Association for Women in Construction SoCal WIC Week and the NAIOP Awards Gala. She is a judge for the Society for Collegiate and University Planning and the Society for Marketing Professional Services Marketing Communication Award.
